We had a lazy family afternoon today watching the Disney film, Christopher Robin. It’s great for kids (our 4,5 year old watched the entire 90 minutes), and there’s a surprising amount of gentle insight for adults too. I was going to write it up, but someone beat me to it. Read this even if you don’t intend to watch the film.
My favourite quote is this one:
“Doing nothing often leads to the very best of something”
And one not in the article (link above) is:
“My favorite day. Yesterday, when it was tomorrow, it was too much day for me.”
It’s strange that there should be so much “mindfulness” in a children’s film, but sometimes one finds meaning in the strangest places.
